Mr. Charles Anfield, a Jenkins County School system bus driver, was recently presented the State Valor Award by Grant Reppert, President of the Georgia Association for Pupil Transportation (GAPT). The award was presented at the GAPT banquet June 23rd. He was recognized for safely evacuating students when the school bus he was driving caught fire.
