On Wednesday 8/10 and Thursday 8/11, Random House’s language learning program, Living Language, will celebrate the launch of its Platinum edition with a two-day, food truck celebration in Union Square and Midtown New York City.

The truck will be parked at Union Square West between 16th & 17th on Wednesday 8/10 from 11:00am – 4:00pm and in front of 1745 Broadway on Thursday 8/11 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm. You can find additional information at http://www.LivingLanguage.com or on Living Language Facebook and Twitter (@LivingLanguage) pages.

Offering up a taste of cultural immersion into Spanish, French, Italian and German, the Living Language food truck will be giving away culinary treats for FREE—the only catch is that, while the food and drinks hail from all over the world and often come with tricky foreign names, you’ve got to be able to “say it right to get a bite.” The participants’ pronunciation is key to nabbing free sorbet, pastries, pretzels and more.

The cultural immersion doesn’t end there--Living Language will be giving mini language lessons to those in line and be giving away free Platinum language learning product and gift certificates to some of the city’s hottest French, German, Italian, and Latin American eateries and drinking holes.
