The prestigious award was presented to Dalworth Restoration on July 28, 2011 at the new Pitney Bowes Grand Prairie facility. The ribbon cutting event was attended by numerous Dallas Fort Worth leaders and some of Pitney Bowes’ largest customers. At the awards event, Pitney Bowes publicly acknowledged the outstanding professional fire and water damage restoration and disaster recovery services performed diligently by a crew of 25 Dalworth Restoration employees after a fire ravaged and destroyed their 400,000 square foot facility.

During the ceremony, Pitney Bowes wished to recognize Dalworth Restoration and other vendors, selected for their dedication and excellent work on a disaster recovery effort that required extensive coordination and good rapport among the various crews. Dalworth Restoration employees worked in conjunction with several service providers to clean up and remove the soaking wet debris from the charred remains of the warehouse facility following the extensive fire. The smoke and fire damage that took place in February of this year completely destroyed the facility and the water used to extinguish the flames caused additional destruction. This commercial fire and water damage restoration project took seven weeks of dedicated commitment to complete. Due to the proactive initiative and drive of those involved, the project was a roaring success and was completed ahead of schedule.

Dalworth Restoration brought mobile mini warehouses to the scene of the fire to clear out the rubble that was lodged under collapsed massive steel columns. The task at hand was colossal in breadth, as the scope of the project was the fire and water damage removal and cleanup of an enormous amount of debris following the four-alarm blaze. This particular fire and water damage restoration project was unique in that it involved various vendors working simultaneously on different tasks in a well orchestrated massive commercial restoration project to clear out hundreds of pounds of waste, so strategic planning was paramount to the goal at hand. The logistics of coordinating disaster recovery and fire and water damage restoration efforts were meticulously thought through and carried out by professionals.
