  •     The Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 honors men and women under the age of 40 in the Seattle area who are dynamic leaders in their businesses, industries, and communities. Now in its 13th year, the award program has profiled 480 young entrepreneurs, decision makers, and executives to date.
  •     In 2011, nearly 200 men and women applied to the program, but only 40 were chosen by an expert panel of judges based on their leadership, vision, and career accomplishments.
  •     McDaniel and the other 40 Under 40 winners will be profiled in a special section in the newspaper on September 9, 2011, and honored at an awards ceremony on September 14, 2011 at The Showbox Sodo in Seattle.
  •     McDaniel has been widely recognized for his leadership in the digital marketing sector. He has been profiled in SmartMoney, and contributed articles to Adotas, DMNews, iMedia, MarketingProfs, MediaPost, Mashable, and many other media outlets. He speaks and presents frequently at industry events, including Social Media Conference NW, WOMMA Summit, School of WOM, Digital Hollywood, Seattle PR Society of America events, Online Marketing Summit, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Annual Small Business Summit.
