Now in its 13th year, the award program has profiled 480 young entrepreneurs, decision makers, and executives to date.
- In 2011, nearly 200 men and women applied to the program, but only 40 were chosen by an expert panel of judges based on their leadership, vision, and career accomplishments.
- McDaniel and the other 40 Under 40 winners will be profiled in a special section in the newspaper on September 9, 2011, and honored at an awards ceremony on September 14, 2011 at The Showbox Sodo in Seattle.
- McDaniel has been widely recognized for his leadership in the digital marketing sector.
