Short break specialist Superbreak expands portfolio of summer products, incentivising customers to take a last minute summer break over the August Bank Holiday.

Short break specialist, Superbreak, have expanded their product range in the lead up to the August Bank Holiday to offer customers a variety of breaks to suit most budgets. Superbreak customers planning a staycation or a trip abroad will be exposed to a wide range of products, with a portfolio that encompasses Cheap City Breaks, seaside trips, country retreats, spa and golf weekends, mini cruises and rail inclusive breaks.

In 2010, Superbreak reported an 11% increase in online revenue over the August bank holiday period, with 37% of revenue generated from London-based bookings. In 2010 the most popular destinations included seaside destinations such as Blackpool, Brighton and Bournemouth. However, current trends for this year are heading more towards city break locations with the top areas being York, Manchester, Edinburgh and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Superbreak has responded to this by contracting more attraction breaks and ticketing offers allowing customers a host of things to do on their weekend breaks away. This summer sees the extension of the Kids Go Free offer at selected Sea Life Centres across the UK, as well as new attraction products for the season which include Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. The new introduction of the Pontins Holiday Parks are already proving particularly popular with families offering a full programme of entertainment, 70 free attractions and breakfast and dinner included, they are a great value way to entertain the children during the summer holidays.

The Yorkshire based tour operator has also secured a wide range of city and beach destinations catering for those seeking sunnier climes over the bank holiday period from Paris to Paphos and even further afield. Prices can start from as little as £9 per person per night, with many hotels offering free night incentives too. Also on sale are stopovers at a variety of airport hotels as well as parking inclusive rates and on site airport car parking offers.

Superbreak is pleased to offer its customers a great range of value added products and are hoping to expand this even further. Well known for offering value, the company currently provides booking incentives such as free bars, free dinners and free upgrades. Alongside this they also have a large portfolio of products which help to make their customers savings wherever they can, including reduced price theatre and attraction tickets, mystery hotels and low cost rail travel.
