TSC Global, LLC, a leading company in the sales, marketing, distribution and service of consumer brand products for America’s top retailers and travel centers, announced today that customers participating in its proprietary Retail Merchandising Solutions (RMS) program are experiencing double-digit comparable sales increases over prior year. The announcement comes just six months after the official launch of the program exclusively to TSC customers.

RMS, created by Vice President of RMS Darren Schulte, is a custom retail facility assessment focusing on store layouts, merchandising options, space planning, and customer behavior. During the review, the store product mix is evaluated while taking category sales and customer demographics into account. This information is used to suggest new product placements and adjacencies, store appearance, layout and SKU rationalization.

“I think what makes the review successful is that it is done with the operator in mind,” says Schulte. “We look at ways to produce improved retail sales, overall sales and net operating costs without spending any money. It’s simple to tell our customer to spend money to make improvements; it is much more difficult to drive profitability utilizing existing capabilities. It can be done and we are doing it for our customers.”

Seventy store reviews have been completed since the inception of the program and appointments are booked through February 2012. RMS reviews are free of charge and available to TSC Global’s customers in the United States and Canada.
