PacificEast Research, a provider of contact data cleansing, appending and verifications services in the United States and Canada, announced today the launch of two new product enhancements. The first launch was SearchPilot™ (http://www.searchpilot.info) a new contact information search assistance product. In the announcement Garth Froese, PacificEast’s CEO, described SearchPilot as a means of improving the results of searches as well as increasing match rates. “We’re very happy with SearchPilot because it not only increases the frequency with which our customers can find contact information for businesses and consumers, it also helps them improve the overall quality of their answers.” Mr. Froese announced that average customer match rates have improved by 10 percentage points when the SearchPilot feature is engaged.
Scott Rice, PacificEast Research’s Chief Information Officer, responsible for product development said “SearchPilot is not a product in its own right but an intelligent amplifier that makes our other products work even better.” Mr. Rice continued, “Contact search products typically rely on a human to decide to which repository a search will be sent and what to do if the first search doesn’t return a result. SearchPilot was designed to act on behalf of our customers, deciding when and where the search is sent and whether or not the results returned are of sufficient quality and precision or if the search should be executed in a different manner or sent to an alternate source. In short, SearchPilot intercepts the customer’s search and makes the best choices so our customers don’t have to.”
In the announcement this week PacificEast also unveiled the launch of their FlexiQuery™ integrated application programming interface. Mr. Rice described this enhancement as “another ease-of-use enhancement that makes life easier for customers.” Mr. Rice stated that where SearchPilot is targeted primarily at providing assistance to users of PacificEast Research’s interactive (human interface) products, FlexiQuery is targeted at companies that use their Integrated (machine interface) products. Mr. Rice said, “our enterprise customers invest programming time to alter their systems to communicate with and take advantage of PacificEast Research’s contact information platform. We wanted to make this process even easier for the customers that access more than one type of data service. FlexiQuery provides enhanced uniformity, ease of access and better reporting capability for our integrated service customers. In short, FlexiQuery makes it easier for our integrated customers to ask a wider variety of questions.”
