Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) August 18, 2011
ClassifiedAds.com, a leading online classified ads website, today announced that its CEO Edward Yim has been named to the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. The prestigious "40 Under 40" awards program recognizes the top Seattle-area business leaders under the age of 40 who excel in their industry and demonstrate dynamic leadership. Now in its 13th year, the award program has profiled 480 young entrepreneurs, decision makers, and executives to date.
In 2011, over 200 men and women applied to the program, but only 40 were chosen by an expert panel of judges based on their leadership, vision, and career accomplishments. Yim and the other 40 Under 40 winners will be profiled in a special section in the newspaper on September 9, 2011, and honored at an awards ceremony on September 14, 2011 at The Showbox Sodo in Seattle.
"I'm honored to be recognized with such a distinguished group of leaders," said Yim. "This award is more about the talented people that I have worked with than my personal accomplishments. Without them, I would not have been chosen for this award." he said.
“This marks the 13th year the Puget Sound Business Journal has spotlighted the area’s top business leaders under the age of 40 who excel in their industries,” said Gordon Prouty, publisher of the Business Journal. “The region’s business community is globally renowned for its innovation and creativity, and based on the accomplishments of this year’s prestigious 40 under 40 roster that reputation will continue for years to come. Join us on September 14, 2011 as we recognize the 2011 40 Under 40 honorees.”
