New York, NY (PRWEB) August 20, 2011
Mobile Theory, the first mobile ad network built for brands, has appointed Hannah Magee as its new Vice President of Sales for the Eastern region.
Magee brings over six years of new media sales, product strategy and start up expertise
to Mobile Theory. She was Glam Media’s first-ever salesperson and spearheaded the company’s foremost mass retail, telecom and finance campaigns. Magee grew the business 25% in 2007 and won several awards for her leadership and contributions. During her tenure, she also met Scott Swanson, then General Manager of the Glam Publisher Network and now Mobile Theory’s current CEO.
“We are thrilled to have another Glam alumnae on the Mobile Theory executive roster,” said Scott Swanson, CEO and Founder of Mobile Theory. “Hannah is one of the industry’s top talents in media sales, has deep mobile experience and an outstanding track record of promoting new media offerings to the marketing community. Her ability to conceive and execute innovative mobile media programs will elevate our presence in the New York market.”
“I’m confident that Mobile Theory will usher in a new standard of mobile advertising and I’m excited to be a part of it,” says Magee. “My team and I will be focused on consulting with brand advertisers to create custom marketing solutions that combine the latest mobile technology and rich media innovations.”
With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, Magee has held sales roles at Conde Nast Digital and Like.com, which was acquired by Google in 2010. Most recently, as Senior Sales Director for Motricity, she pioneered the company’s rich media offerings, and was the top sales producer in the US, France and Canada. As VP of Sales for Mobile Theory, Magee will be responsible for development of the East Coast sales organization and help establish the team in the New York City office.
