Fanrank, the developer of a new Facebook application that rewards fans for spreading the word about the things they love, announced today that it has raised $320,000 in angel financing. The funds will be used to accelerate product and business development.
Since beta launching in May 2011, Fanrank has been installed on the Facebook Fanpages of more than 3000 brands, television shows, films, celebrities and top music artists. Together, Fanpages that have installed Fanrank have over 75M fans. The app has grown to approximately 350,000 monthly active users according to independent Facebook monitoring firm AppData.
