RecruitingAwards.com First HR Award To Combine Crowdsource and Panel Voting To Select Winners In Recruiting And Talent Management Contest

RecruitingAwards.com will honor three nominees in the HR disciplines of recruiting and talent management at the 2011 LinkedIn Talent Connect conference in Las Vegas on October 17, 2011.

RecruitingAwards.com is a new recognition and award platform for the recruiting industry and is the first industry award in Human Resources to select their winners through a combination of crowdsource voting and panel judging. The Recruiting Awards is unique because the judging panel will be comprised of peers who occupy HR Leadership positions, not industry analysts.

Awards
Three awards will comprise the inaugural 2011 Recruiting Awards: Talent Hunter, Recruiting innovation and Recruiting Organization. The nomination process started August 17th and will continue until September 2, 2011 at which time the crowdsourced judging will commence. The inaugural awards will be presented on October 17, 2011 at LinkedIn 2011 Talent Connect Conference.

Selection process
Winners will be selected via three phases of judging. A crowdsourcing component, a panel of recruiting practitioner judges and finally, the conference attendees.

Prizes
Winners of the Talent Hunter and Recruiting Innovation Awards will receive an Apple iPad 2 and TalentHQ will make a charitable contribution of $750 to the non-profit organization of the winners choosing. The Recruiting Organization team will share a $750 gift card along with the same charitable contribution of $750.
