The more videos our course has, the easier it gets. And the videos give us a chance to inject some comedy into the course.
Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) August 31, 2011
When the Comedy Guys Defensive Driving online course went active in 2009, the six-hour course contained twenty-one video clips that covered various driving safety topics. The Dallas based company is now producing new instructional videos to add to its online course, replacing several pages of text.
“We’ve updated both our online course and our live defensive driving classes a few times, adding new information and up-to-date statistics. But this is the first time we’ve added a significant number of new defensive driving videos to our online course since it went online,” said co-owner Mark Cooper.
The company plans to add ten new video clips to its online defensive driving course over the next two months, replacing twenty pages of text.
“The more videos our course has, the easier it gets. Students will have less to read, and the videos can explain things more clearly than text, especially to people whose first language isn’t English. And the videos give us a chance to inject some comedy into the course,” said comic actor Terry Yates, who appears in many of the online video clips.
Following the filming and editing of the clips, they will be submitted to the Texas Education Agency for approval prior to becoming part of the state approved defensive driving course.
