Baby keepsake Christmas tree ornaments are nothing new. But hanging the actual preserved baby shoes a child wore is! This has become a whole new way of displaying and appreciating the bronzed baby shoes.

The 76-year-old American Bronzing Company recently added a new offering to their selection of baby shoe bronzing styles and finishes: Having baby shoes bronzed to use as Christmas tree ornaments.
Robert Kaynes, Jr., business owner and grandson of the founder Violet Shinbach (recognized as the “mother of baby shoe bronzing,”) enthusiastically explains, “Now sentimental parents can do something fun with their bronzed baby shoes. They can hang them right on their Christmas tree each year…and recall the happy memories of their babies’ first steps.”
He continues, “Baby keepsake Christmas tree ornaments are nothing new. But hanging the actual preserved baby shoes a child wore is! This has become a whole new way of displaying and appreciating the bronzed baby shoes.”
“Bronzed baby shoes are not too heavy to hang on the tree. They only weigh about 4-8 ounces. In addition to how the bronzed shoes are used, what’s new about this is that each bronzed baby shoe can have a hole put in the back…so any colored ribbon or string can be laced through to use as a hanger. Parents have the freedom to be as creative as they wish in deciding the type and color of ribbon they’ll use to hang these on their trees.”
The baby shoes can be preserved in either the bright (shiny) bronze or antique (darker brushed) bronze finish. In order to get the bronzed shoes back in time to hang on the tree for this Christmas, orders must be placed on the American Bronzing website, http://www.americanbronzing.com no later than November 5 and shoes must be received at their factory in Ohio on or before November 10.
Kaynes concludes, “This is a terrific new way to show off your bronzed baby shoes and to revisit those happy memories of babyhood year after year. They become Christmas tree ornaments that truly last a lifetime.”
The American Bronzing Company was established in 1934 as the first company, anywhere, dedicated to bronzing baby shoes and other keepsakes. Since that time, they have bronzed over 14,000,000 baby shoes for sentimental parents all around the USA. They use 100% made in America materials in all of their processes and have a satisfaction guarantee on their bronzing services. American Bronzing employs 29 people at their factory in Columbus, Ohio, the “baby shoe bronzing capitol of the world.”
