Our site can provide a resource for medical professionals to get the answers on how to bring beneficial, cost-effective weight loss programs to their communities and get the obesity-related illnesses under control.
Vermilion, Ohio (PRWEB) September 13, 2011
American Bariatric Consultants launched their new website today that will provide a resource where doctors, medical facilities and patients can get information about the most current bariatric treatment therapies.
The new site features an “Ask Dr. Huffman” section where site visitors can email questions to American Bariatrics’ medical director, Dr. Kevin Huffman, who is a nationally-recognized expert in the field of bariatrics.
“Most doctors spend valuable time addressing obesity-related illnesses but may not have the time or the resources to start an effective bariatric program,” said Dr. Huffman.“Our site can provide a resource for medical professionals to get the answers on how to bring beneficial, cost-effective weight loss programs to their communities and get the obesity-related illnesses under control.”
While the business of American Bariatric Consultants is to offer a stress-free way to integrate effective weight loss programs into physician practices or hospital facilities, many doctors simply want a resource where they go to get expert bariatric medical advice or find trustworthy surgeons to refer patients. Dr. Huffman is hoping that the new site will bring more referring doctors and interested patients together with quality bariatric surgeons and/or weight loss programs just in time for healthcare reform and the anticipated changes on obesity care.
