Students Create Educational Organic T-Shirts To Eliminate Ignorance About Sustainability

Consciousness-based college students rally to make a difference by creating educational T-shirts with a twist. Today they publicly launched, the global online hub of the Epic Journey brand.

Students of the Maharishi University of Management are a diverse and passionate bunch. Sensing the possibility of a better world, they set out to improve our lives by delivering valuable sustainable concepts through novel and fun T-shirts. The idea is to be able to educate people about sustainability wherever one goes. Epic Journey's best selling T-shirt has an unusual solar power design on the front, and a simplified schematic of how solar power works on the back.

“I fell in love with the passion of the students when the David Lynch Foundation first brought me here in 2008. The commitment of this community to positive social change was inspiring. I realized that If we wanted a world for our children we have to act now,” says Michael Valentino, founder of Epic Journey. The company was formed officially in late 2010 after they quickly sold over 400 shirts to their local school bookstore. “There is so much ignorance about the importance of sustainability that I felt we had to do something. Our T-shirts are mobile advertisements for Planet Earth,” Michael explains

Two of Epic Journeys main goals are to support global sustainability and local community development, therefore, Epic Journey donates a percentage of each month’s sales to a charitable foundation or community project.

To celebrate their public launch, Epic Journey is currently including free shipping within the United States. Their organic shirt collection can be found at
