Volgistics strengthens its position as the leading web based volunteer management software as it reaches 2,000 paid customer accounts. The company continues to upgrade equipment and facilities to allow for future expansion.

Volgistics, Inc. reached a milestone as it recently passed the 2,000 customer mark. This milestone solidifies Volgistics’ position as the leader in web based volunteer management software with over 2.3 million volunteer records tracked by its clients. The Michigan company launched its current product in 2004.
Company officials state the business is currently growing at over 33% a year and that the current customer base is now double the size it was in 2009. This growth is fueled by the program’s ease of use, feature rich environment, unlimited online support and low start-up and maintenance costs. Because it is completely web based, organizations do not have any initial costs associated with purchasing software or paying licensing fees. They also do not need IS or IT department support to install the software or maintain back-ups.

To ensure customers continue to enjoy reliable and secure access to their volunteer information, Volgistics continues to upgrade its equipment and facilities. Recent server upgrades were introduced to increase the reliability and capacity of the system. The company will also move its physical operations to new facilities that will allow room for additional staff. The new location will feature direct access to a backbone ISP provider as well as in-house hosting of additional standby backup servers.
