In the past, when bowhunters have upgraded equipment and wished to sell their previous gear, they’ve typically had to list their gear on large auction sites jammed with thousands of other products. Or wade through layers of classified posts on popular Archery sites. A less than ideal situation in either case.
That’s why Geoff Patti, owner of Outdoor Vision, Inc., recently launched archeryauction.com, a new auction site, where bowhunters and archery enthusiasts can buy and sell all types of archery supplies specific to their interests.
“To make this site useful to bowhunters, we’re not charging listing fees, and the selling fees are less than half the cost of other auction sites,” says Patti. “But users still have the same convenience of selling with an auction-style listing, or fixed price format. Additionally we’ll be offering upgrades, such as YouTube videos and “Featured” listings to draw more attention to a product.”
As part of the archeryauction.com launch, the first 500 listings will be entered into a drawing for a bow of the winner’s choice up to $1000. Patti will also host monthly gear giveaways, and donate part of the site’s proceeds to the Wounded Warrior project.
