On Saturday, September 17th, 14 of the most popular food trucks and a mobile game truck will share their specialties at the Chino Valley Foodie Festival at Don Lugo High School from 11am-3pm. The return of the Inland Empire areas first ever gourmet foodie event will serve as a fundraiser for the Chino Valley Unified School District and run in conjunction with the annual State of the District. Foodie fans will recognize Don Chow’s Tacos from the Food Network, Ludo Bites and its famous Chef Ludo Lefebvre from Bravo TV, Suite 106 Cupcakery, as winners of TLC’s Cupcake Wars, and Cool Haus, the Buttermilk Truck and Frysmith from the Cooking Channel’s “Eat Street.” Gourmet items, comfort foods, ethnic specialties such as the famous Filipino truck, Tapa Boys, and fusion dishes are among the menu choices that will be available at the confirmed trucks that also include Bool Korean BBQ, the Greasy Wiener, Rebel Bite, Lardon, Shrimp Pimp, Rolling Sushi Van, and Pie N Burger.
The Chino Valley Foodie Truck Festival marks a return of the trucks to the area, which made their first ever appearance in the Inland Empire at the April event which attracted more than 4,000 people in a successful fundraiser for the Chino Valley Unified School District.
