Integration offers users the ability to automate many of the previously manual tasks associated with fixing security issues.

HoneyApps announced today that Rapid7’s NeXpose Enterprise has become the newest vulnerability assessment connector for their vulnerability management tool, Risk I/O™. This partnership allows NeXpose® Enterprise users to integrate their vulnerability scanner directly into Risk I/O to both pull and push security defect data. It also allows users to utilize Risk I/O’s reporting and automation to manage their entire stack of vulnerabilities.

"We are thrilled that Risk I/O is now part of the Rapid7 and NeXpose partner ecosystem,” said Richard Li, senior director of Product Management for Rapid7. “Using Nexpose vulnerability assessment data in the Risk I/O solution will help customers get greater security risk intelligence so they can better understand their threat posture."

As a SaaS solution that centralizes all vulnerability monitoring and reporting functions, Risk I/O strives to ensure that the assessment tools, static and binary analysis tools, trouble ticketing and bug-tracking tools that it connects into align as closely as possible with solutions their audience has in place. This partnership with Rapid7 brings Risk I/O a step closer to serving as the one-stop-shop for managing organizations’ vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.

“Partnering with Rapid7 makes a lot of sense for us,” said Ed Bellis, CEO and co-founder of HoneyApps Inc. “With our integration with NeXpose Enterprise, Risk I/O can now offer our mutual customers a complete vulnerability management solution from detection to close across their entire technology stack. This integration gives our customers the ability to automate many of the previously manual tasks associated with fixing security issues.”
