John Garven, the founder and president of Benico, Ltd., an employee benefit brokerage and consulting firm based in the Chicago area, has been awarded The American College’s Certificate in Healthcare Reform Studies.

The American College, the nation’s leading educational institution serving the insurance and financial services industries, developed this certificate program as part of its new Chartered Healthcare Consultant™ (ChHC™) designation. Having completed the first two courses in the ChHC™ curriculum, The Essentials of Healthcare Reform and The Healthcare Consultant, John is one of the first employee benefit professionals in the United States to have earned this Certificate.
