Performers to play The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa

When it comes to live entertainment this October, The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is the one place to catch Grammy winners, Grand Ole Opry Members and America’s favorite southern rockers.

Acts include Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs on Oct. 4, Styx on Oct. 7, Don Henley on Oct. 14, Lynryd Sknyrd on Oct. 15 and Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt on Oct. 21.

Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs

Fans can expect to hear hits from McDonald’s solo career, including “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near),” and “Sweet Freedom.” He will also perform hit songs from his days with The Doobie Brothers, like “Takin’ It to the Streets” and “What a Fool Believes,” which won three Grammys in 1979.

Scaggs broke through with 1976’s “Silk Degrees,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and included the hit singles “Lido Shuffle,” “What Can I Say” and “Lowdown,” which earned the 1977 Grammy for Best R&B Song.


Styx has recorded 15 studio albums and released more than 30 singles, including “Come Sail Away,” “Renegade,” Blue Collar Man” and “Fooling Yourself.”

The band’s biggest hit record came in 1981 with the release of “Paradise Theater,” which was a concept album that sold more than 3 million copies its first three years and featured five singles, including “Too Much Time on My Hands” that peaked at No. 9.

Don Henley

Henley has been a staple of rock music for four decades, beginning as a founding member of the Eagles in 1970.As a solo artist, Henley has released four studio albums including “The End of the Innocence,” which has sold more than 6 million copies and earned him his second Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.

The 64-year-old performer’s solo hit singles include “Boys of Summer,” “Dirty Laundry,” “All She Wants to Do is Dance,” “Not Enough Love in the World,” “The End of the Innocence,” “The Heart of the Matter” and “New York Minute.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Lynyrd Skynyrd has sold more than 30 million albums and released 25 singles, including many that have become staples of rock radio and appeared on many of the band’s 23 compilation releases and seven live albums.

Among the band’s most popular songs are “Free Bird,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Saturday Night Special,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and “What’s Your Name?”

Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt

Daniels has released 40 studio albums and 54 singles, won numerous awards and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008.

Known for his high-charged live performances featuring guitar and fiddle playing, Daniels has released numerous popular singles, including “Boogie Woogie Fiddle Country Blues,” “Drinkin’ My Baby Away,” “In America,” “Simple Man” and “Uneasy Rider.”

Tritt has released 11 albums and landed 30 singles on the Billboard music charts since releasing his 1990 debut album “Country Club,” which featured his first No. 1 single, “Help Me Hold On.” Tritt’s other No. 1 singles are “Anymore,” “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” “Foolish Pride” and “Best of Intentions.” Tritt was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1992.
