Blue Boat Social Marketing announces 6-week virtual program that will focus professionals on their social media strategy.

"We have to show up where our clients and prospects are spending time, and more and more of them are spending time online".

Cara Lynn Garvock, of Blue Boat Social Marketing, announces a new 6-week virtual program that will help independent professionals to build their social media strategy. The program is designed for realtors, consultants, healers, trainers, coaches and other business owners who want to engage customers and prospects online, but do not have the budget or desire to outsource.

"Building Your Social Media Strategy: Your Six-Step Blueprint to Growing Your Community, Attracting More Clients and Increasing Your Revenue" begins September 14th and has begun accepting registrations. Course content includes key messages and unique selling proposition, identifying target audience and ideal clients, objectives, supportive infrastructure, setting up social media accounts, measurement, and evaluation. Course videos and handouts will be made available for download on Wednesday of each week, along with dial-in information for a Q+A call the following Monday. More information can be found at

According to the Pew Reseach Center, 65% of online adults use social networking sites, so, as Ms. Garvock says, "We have to show up where our clients and prospects are spending time, and more and more of them are spending time online."

Most business owners that Ms. Garvock speaks with are either using social media, or they are wondering if it could work for them. They have heard about the many different networks and accounts they could open – in fact, they may have heard of so many, they’re overwhelmed, and not sure where to begin. Ms. Garvock hopes to eliminate that overwhelm. "This is my best program yet," she says, "it's loaded with content that independent professionals need right now. I know it will make a huge difference to their understanding of the power and reach of social media, their knowledge and skill, and their confidence in knowing that they aren't simply shooting in the dark, but taking a deliberate, coherent approach to their social media activities."
