We have enjoyed the competition with many great apps over the past month, and appreciate the honor of being the App Madness Champion.

AppMadness.net hosted a 64-app tournament in August collecting over 12,000 votes generating 70,000 pageviews from 30,000 visitors. The tournament places iPhone games in a single elimination bracket and gamers vote which games are the best each round. At every stage half of the field gets eliminated until the best app becomes the victor. Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage triumphed over everyone and has been crowned the champion.
Bottle Rocket Apps developed Kitchen Carnage, which is a physics based game where you sling fruit to its slaughter in blenders of death. Their path to victory was also filled with slaughter even though some of their opponents are pretty successful on the Appstore. Games like Legendary Wars put up a decent fight, but in the later parts of that round Annoying Orange: Kitchen Carnage beat them down with more than double the votes.
"We would like to thank Dane Boedigheimer (creator of the Annoying Orange) and his dedicated fans for their continued support of Kitchen Carnage," said Matt Johnson, Executive Producer of the game. "We have enjoyed the competition with many great apps over the past month, and appreciate the honor of being the App Madness Champion. The Thruster team is very excited about the recent addition of the 'Nuclear Limes' and the 'Microwave of Destruction' to the game and look forward to expanding the Annoying Orange universe even further through mobile. Oh, and… KNIFE!"
