Bluegreen’s Orlando, Fla., resort, The Fountains, is a prime location for owners to stay while attending the MEAC SWAC Challenge, Sept. 4.

Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced its Orlando, Fla., resort, The Fountains, is a prime location for owners to stay while attending the MEAC SWAC Challenge, Sept. 4.

The Fountains provides the perfect retreat after a day of Orlando’s festivals, events and attractions. The resort’s two-bedroom villas are richly appointed with all the comforts of home—and then some. Most feature a screened balcony overlooking the property lake, a fully-equipped kitchen, a garden tub, and a surround sound stereo system. The resort’s main pool, Wakoola Springs, is a 75,000-square-foot tropical oasis with two twisting water slides, a zero-entry pool, interactive water fountains, two hot tubs, two bridges, and two fire circles for campfires. A 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, a gift shop, a teen center, and a kid’s activity center with video games, air hockey, and billiard tables are sure to keep owners and their families busy.

Owners, who are ready to jump into football season, can make the short drive over Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium to take part in the 7th Annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge. Each year Disney sponsors the game, which showcases two teams from prominent Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBUC) leagues. This year’s opponents are Bethune-Cookman of the MEAC and Prairie View A&M from the SWAC. The kickoff is set for 12 p.m. and will also be televised on ESPN. In addition, the halftime Battle of the Bands and the high school career panel will also be held around this game.
