Dentistry from the Heart is spreading smiles with the help of Godley Station Dental in Pooler, GA.

Drs Allen, Carpenter and Tosto of Godley Station Dental and their team of dental volunteers are preparing to make a difference in the lives of 80+ people when they host their Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) event this Friday, September 23rd.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. this Friday, the Godley Station Dental team will open its doors to provide free dental services and new smiles as part of the nationwide charity efforts of hundreds of dental practices supporting Dentistry From The Heart.

It is estimated that over 100 million Americans are without dental insurance, meaning they lack even the minimal recommended dental care. With over 29% of adults in this country suffering from untreated cavities, it is apparent that dental care is rapidly becoming a critical national health issue. To combat the growing need for dental care, in the face of prolonged financial difficulties and a large population of uninsured people in need, DFTH volunteer efforts such as those presented by Godley Station Dental are essential.

The committed team at Godley Station Dental are no strangers to giving back to their community, being dedicated volunteers to the United Mission homeless shelter and reaching beyond national borders to bring care to the less fortunate.

Commitment to excellence drives the performance of dental services at Godley Station Dental and the free dental services being offered at their Dentistry From The Heart event will be no exception. Extractions, fillings, and cleanings will be available to as many people needing dental work as can be handled between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – with a target goal of helping 80+ patients.

Dr. Matthew Allen, DDS speaks out on the difficulties faced by those lacking the means to obtain dental care:

“Now, more than ever, I know there are people out there who need our services, but have no means to afford them – whether they’re out of a job or just don’t have dental insurance. Dentistry From The Heart is our way of giving back to our community and helping those people who are in need of dental work.”
