Shingo Prize Recipient Makes New E-version Book Available At No Cost

The Shingo Prize is considered the Nobel prize among manufacturers and manufacturing journalists. Shingo Prize recipient and author Gary Conner is making his latest work available to companies and individuals simply by logging into his web site and requesting a copy.

Lean Manufacturing for the Small Shop (Published by Society of Manufacturing Engineers, 2001, revised 2008) was awarded the Shingo Prize in 2002. Consultant, Author, Lean Manufacturing Expert Gary Conner has since worked with over 100 companies, conducting over 500 kaizen events.

His latest book "Catapult the Cow" has recently been featured in National Trade Magazines (The Fabricator, July issue), Webinars, and at trade shows.

This 275 page book is a collection of forty stories from Mr. Conner's experience working in dozens of industries. Written in a "Chicken Soup for the Soul" format, the short stories are meant to enthuse, encourage and entertain. Each story teaches a moral or shows how companies are working hard to achieve their world class visions.
