Meers Advertising Named to Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-growing Companies

Meers Advertising is pleased to announce its ranking of 1,436 on the 2011 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Meers was the highest-ranked Kansas City, Mo., company named to the list.

The 2011 Inc. 5000 is based on percentage of revenue growth from 2007-2010, when Meers’ revenue jumped 195 percent to $2.9 million. It ranked 134th in the advertising/marketing category.

“Our growth is remarkable and gratifying when you consider the challenges our industry faced for most of that period,” says President Sam Meers. “We continue to enhance agency services to best serve clients whose marketing opportunities and challenges are growing exponentially along with digital technology.”

Since the Inc. rankings were compiled, Meers’ employment has grown an additional 50 percent. As part of that, the company recently broadened its expertise in channel marketing with the addition of media veteran Sheree Johnson as director of business intelligence, along with channel marketing specialists Allisyn Wheeler and Aubrey Ammon. And earlier this year, Meers hired top industry pros John Kreicbergs as director, digital strategy, and Brent Anderson as creative director.
