Northridge Inn & Resort (http://www.northridgeinn.com), an upscale all-season resort on Lake Bernard in North Muskoka, will be hosting members of the Dimestore Fishermen cast and crew on September 14th and 15th, when they are in Strong Township filming a segment of their popular Canadian fishing television program that focuses on great fishing destinations in Canada. “We are very excited to welcome members of the Dimestore Fishermen crew to Northridge Inn for their first two nights and to host a special breakfast for them on September 15th,” says resort owner Michael Piraino. “One of the great things about operating a resort is the interesting people that you meet. We are really looking forward to meeting show host Jim Hoey and his crew.”
A uniquely Canadian outdoor program, the Dimestore Fishermen is a television fishing show that provides a spotlight on interesting Canadian communities, revealing to a national and international audience the many great fishing destinations in Canada and focusing on the cultural, historical and recreational aspects of every region or municipality that they visit. The long running, critically acclaimed series, based in Calgary, Alberta, was developed by Jim Hoey, a world renowned fisherman and filmmaker who is also the show’s producer and host. As host of the Dimestore Fishermen, Hoey takes viewers on a tour of some of the greatest fishing destinations in the world, including the very best in lake, ocean, river and ice fishing locations in Canada. When the show airs, literally hundreds of thousands of people will learn about North Muskoka and everything it has to offer, especially for those looking for a great Ontario fishing getaway destination.
