The Skin Diva Parties for Various Causes

I love our country and am so proud of these men and women who deserve our continued support long after the benefit is over

Christine Heathman, Master Aesthetician, CEO and Founder of GlyMed Plus and the GlyMed Plus Institute of Skin Science™ attended three major Hollywood events on the weekend of August 27th. Christine attended the Betty White Diamonds Not Fur Gala, the NAACP Theatre Awards, and the Eagle and Badge Foundation Benefit.

The Diamonds Not Fur Gala was held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at club Voyeur in West Hollywood, CA. and was hosted by legendary actress Betty White and actress/supermodel/event founder Katie Cleary.

The event benefited the spcaLA and the Animal Alliance. These organizations have joined forces to support the ban on the sale ofclothing with fur in West Hollywood.

"As an animal lover, the 'mother' of five French Bull dogs, 15 horses, 2 goats and several chickens, the evening at the Betty White 'Diamonds not Fur' fundraiser was incredible and near and dear to my heart." States Christine. " It was a wonderful experience to give back to an organization that expresses the love and respect to these incredible creatures who deserve a special place without cruelty on our planet."

On August 29th, 2011, Christine attended the 21st Annual Theatre Awards. The Theatre Awards were held at the Los Angles Theatre Center. Celebrities such as Billy Dee Williams Diahann Carroll, Loretta Devine, Raven Symone and Jill Marie Jones were in attendance.

"So much fun at the NAACP theatre awards!" Christine goes on to say, "The bling, the glamour and the style! All the more reason to pamper and care for skin of color that only GlyMed Plus can provide! So many celebrities were excited!"

And finally, Christine concluded her star studded weekend at the Eagle and Badge Foundation Benefit. The gala benefited the Eagle and Badge Foundation, which is a philanthropic organization created by the members and supporters of the Los Angeles Police Protective League that provides benefits and scholarships to Los Angeles Police Officers and their family members. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa among others were at the event.

Christine states, "What an incredible honor to attend the Eagle and Badge benefit of Los Angeles, my adopted city, honoring the men and women in uniform. These unspoken heroes are the real stars of our country and I give thanks to them every day. I was so humbled to be in the presence of the elite LAPD, state and federal law enforcement and several top officials of our armed forces. I love our country and am so proud of these men and women who deserve our continued support long after the benefit is over. Thank you to the Eagle and Badge organization of Los Angeles!"
