If they hadn’t, I’m certain I would have lost my family support, ruined any opportunity at my career, been homeless and possibly dead.

When LDR Addiction Wellness Center got the call from Intervention Canada, a new show produced by Slice TV the Canadian version of the hit Emmy Award Winning show on A&E, they were excited to work with a client featured on a National stage.
Up to this point, LDR Addiction Wellness Center prided itself on providing an exclusive treatment solution, operating an intimate inpatient clinic for men.
"After speaking with the producers, I came to understand that this was much more than just some reality T.V. show – this was a cause," says Jason Spies, Executive Director of LDR. "Once the Intervention Canada team explained what client they had in mind for our services; I became inspired at the opportunity to work with this incredible young man."
LDR Addiction Wellness Center is the only private addiction treatment center serving the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada.
"I am completely awe-struck at how Intervention Canada stepped in at just the right time," says Andrew, the man whose life is featured on the show. "If they hadn’t, I’m certain I would have lost my family support, ruined any opportunity at my career, been homeless and possibly dead. I’ve now been sober for 95 days. I don’t believe in coincidence anymore, not after Intervention chose the LDR program for my treatment."
Airing Friday September 30th, at 9pm (PST) on Slice, Episode Andrew will give you an inside look into the life of a young University student from Ontario studying journalism whose life was derailed by alcohol and crack cocaine addiction who experienced a journey of courage, strength, and hope, all beginning with an Intervention.
