Our customers and winemakers will be delighted to hear that we've won this award. It's testament to their willingness to embrace a new way of doing things.

Online wine retailer Naked Wines was named Innovator of the Year for the second year in a row, at the prestigious International Wine Challenge Awards.
Launched in December 2008 by former Virgin Money and Virgin Wines’ Founder Rowan Gormley, the Norwich-based wine merchant supports independent winemakers from around the world, in return for exclusive wines at preferential prices.
Rowan Gormley, CEO, Naked Wines said: “Our customers and winemakers will be delighted to hear we’ve won this award. In an age-old industry stunted by snobbery and dubious marketing practices, we have proven a new way of doing business around collaboration rather than confrontation, and it’s testament to their willingness to embrace a new way of doing things. Thirty five winemakers are only in business today through upfront customer investment, and winning this award will help us spread the word and build on this success.”
The innovative business, which is on course to more than double its turnover this year, is currently selling over 10,000 bottles of wine a day through its next day delivery service, fulfilled by Parcelforce.
