(PRWEB UK) 9 September 2011
Superbreak, the UK’s leading short break specialist, has redesigned its spa break section to incorporate a vibrant new look, search functionality and additional spa break product. The newly designed section of the website will replace the existing, static page which only featured a range of spa breaks bookable via the York based call centre. Whilst a selection of spa breaks will still only be bookable via the call centre, the new re-design will also provide customers with the ability to choose from a range of tailor-made spa break packages available to book online.
The primary aim of the re-design was to showcase the company’s expanding breadth of spa break product, as well as highlighting the new range of tailor-made spa break products available to book online. Central to the changes was the improved look and feel of the new pages.
The introduction of the new search facility on the new spa breaks landing page offers customers the ability to search by destination with the added option of filtering by budget and luxury hotels only. The search page displays details for all contracted spa packages, both bookable online or via the call centre only, giving customers more choice and flexibility. Finally, once customers click through to their chosen break, the site will now display extra information about the specific spa break package, including details of the treatments included, imagery, reviews, hotel information and facilities listings.
The re-design process started following the company working closely with key hotel partners to secure a wider choice of spa packages predominantly for its luxury breaks programme. Following on from this contracting has been extended resulting in a spa package portfolio which now includes a wide range of weekend breaks, from 3* to 5* hotels with prices starting from £65 per person for a 1 night break. Treatments included range from basic manicures to luxury aromatherapy body massage, using products from top beauty names such as Aveda, ESPA and Declor.
Initial feedback on the pages has been positive and the new search functionality and range of product available has been a success with customers. Figures for this area of the business are already positive with the company reporting a 63% year on year revenue growth to date alone, with the top 5 spa break destinations including Troon, the Peak District, Lake District, Pitlochry and Southampton. These results have been attributed to the increased selection of packages with secured room allocations.
Khalid Amin, Online Marketing Manager at Superbreak commented “As you can see from the figures above the spa breaks sector is showing significant growth, by improving the usability of the pages on our website we are optimistic that this will increase even further. The knock on effect will be that we can secure even more room allocation and further.”
