Professionals who work with youth can now access articles from The Prevention Researcher anytime, from most anywhere.
Eugene, OR (PRWEB) September 09, 2011
The Prevention Researcher has introduced digital editions of the quarterly journal focused on successful adolescent development. Written for professionals who work with youth, the journal’s digital editions feature all the articles from its print edition plus video, podcasts, and other media.
“We’re pleased to offer our readers online access to information on today’s best practices for working with young people,” said Steven Ungerleider, PhD, and Founding Editor of The Prevention Researcher. “Now professionals can access the journal’s articles anytime from most anywhere via their laptop, smartphone, and other mobile devices.”
Using the Nxtbook digital publishing platform, the journal’s digital editions provide readers with capabilities that include issue and archive search, forwarding articles to colleagues, printing, note taking, and sharing on social networks. The platform displays the current issue of the journal and allows easy access to an archive of back issues.
Readers of The Prevention Researcher can select either digital only subscriptions or print subscriptions which include access to the digital editions. Rates for digital only subscriptions are 25 percent less than for the print edition.
“Reader surveys showed that professionals who read the journal prefer publications that offer digital editions,” said Ungerleider. “I’m excited about beginning this new venture in digital publishing.”
