We welcome bikers and ‘Chopper’ fans to meet these two celebrity bike makers and to help with a great cause
Lac du Flambeau, WI (PRWEB) September 08, 2011
Bikers and anyone who loves custom-built motorcycles won’t want to miss a rare opportunity to meet Vinnie and Cody of “American Chopper Senior Vs. Junior” on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. They will be available for autographs and pictures from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the casino main entrance. Fans of all ages are welcome and it is completely free!
Vinnie DiMartino and Cody Connelly are best known for their many appearances on the hit reality television show “American Chopper.” Originally working for Orange County Choppers (which is the featured motorcycle building shop on the show), Vinnie opened his own shop, V-Force Customs, in Rock Tavern, N.Y., which has built such popular bike models as the V-Force 1 and Geese Chaser’s-Boomer 1. Vinnie’s shop also produced the Tampa Bay Storm, commissioned by the Tampa Bay football steam, which looks as fast sitting as it really is on the road. In 2010, Vinnie and Cody returned to television, working with Paul Teutul Jr. on the series “American Chopper Jr. Vs. Senior.”
Vinnie and Cody’s appearance at Lake of the Torches will coincide with the 2011 Tomahawk Fall Ride that will draw thousands of bikers from across the region. Riders on the tour are encouraged to stop at the casino for the rare opportunity to meet these two famed motorcycle builders. Riders can also present their Fall Ride cards at the Club Advantage desk to receive $10 in Free Play that can be downloaded onto their favorite machine. For every Fall Ride biker who checks in, Lake of the Torches will be donating $10 to the MDA. In addition and as an added bonus, all Club Advantage members will earn quadruple points while playing slots that day from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
“Rev up your rides and join us for this spectacular afternoon with Vinnie and Cody, two of the most celebrated bike builders in the country. Their appearance promises to be one of the coolest stops on the Fall Ride. We welcome bikers and ‘Chopper’ fans to meet these two celebrity bike makers and to help with a great cause,” said Michael J. Broderick, Director of Marketing at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.
