Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) September 08, 2011
Dealfind.com is officially Canada’s most visited daily deal website.
As of Sept. 7, 2011, Dealfind became the only deal site to place within the Top 100 most visited sites in Canada, according to renowned Internet traffic ranking site Alexa.com. The Toronto-based company, which has been rapidly growing throughout Canada over the past six months by entering more than a dozen new markets coast to coast, beat out competing sites, including Groupon and LivingSocial to rank 89th in the Top 100 list.
“We’re definitely encouraged by the growing number of visitors to our site, which is a reflection of the value we bring to consumers, but also the strong focus on customer service that has earned us a reputation as a leader in the daily deal market,” said Dealfind President Gary Lipovetsky.
Dealfind’s traffic has been growing remarkably since its inception two years ago. As a testament to its growth, the company secured $31 million in venture capital investment this past spring, which allowed it to begin its expansion in the summer by entering a series of mid-sized markets throughout North America. New markets in Canada include Saskatoon, Kingston, Regina, Sudbury, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Quebec City, and St. John’s while new U.S. cities consist of Miami, Baltimore and San Diego. The company’s expansion will continue throughout the year with the goal of growing from its current market presence in 47 cities to 100 cities across North America by the end of 2011.
As of Sept. 6, 2011, Dealfind had sold more than 1.2 million vouchers, saving Canadians more than $262 million. The surge in the company’s web traffic has allowed it to become the only daily deal site on Alexa.com’s Top 100 in Canada.
“We anticipate we will continue to climb the charts as more and more consumers learn about our value proposition and put us at the top of their daily deal list,” said Lipovetsky.
Dealfind is the largest Canadian-based group buying website in Canada. It has sold more than 1.2 million vouchers since 2010, saving Canadian consumers more than $262 million. Privately held, Dealfind boasts the refundable group-buying vouchers, as well as a full customer service support. The Toronto-based company provides small and medium-sized enterprises the opportunity to cost-effectively gain new and repeat customers through smart online marketing and referral programs.
