Jacksonville, FL (PRWEB) September 09, 2011
College football fans now have a new way to customize their phones and show their true colors. Smartphones Technologies launched new official 2011 Live College Clock and Schedule widgets for Android phones.
The 2011 Live Clocks let fans get news and scores for their favorite teams without even launching an app. Last season Smartphones introduced college and NFL clock widgets, letting fans replace the standard clock on their phone with a custom clock featuring their favorite team. The new 2011 Live Clocks add several new features, including team schedules, news and scores, with a dynamic scoreboard that slides out of the clock when NCAA football and basketball games are in progress. When games aren’t on, the latest conference news appears below the clock. Just tap the clock to see full schedules, news and conference scores.
The new College Schedule widgets add another level of personalization, with the team logo and schedule appearing on the phone screen. These schedule widgets include 3 separate sizes (3x3, 4x2 and 4x1) and 2 color options for each school. Tap the widget to see detailed team schedule, or view all games scheduled by week. The college schedules let fans view the entire team schedule or all games by conference, or view conference schedules for different weeks. All college clock and schedule widgets are officially licensed by the respective university.
The 2011 Live College Clock and Schedule widgets are available now on Android Market and Amazon App Store. To see them, go to: http://www.SmartApps.com/College
