Air Feathers Eco-Chic Boutique, home of the Fairie Feather opens it's doors to the public along with it's new online shop with a Grand Opening on Fashion's Night Out to benefit The Reeve Foundation. September 8th will be the shops first full day of operation.
Well over $1000.00 has been raised by this small company in only a few months, out of their profits alone.
On hand to accept a check from Air Feathers owner, Airie McCready of funds raised for The Reeve Foundation will be Sam Maddox and Patrick Ivison.
Ivison is well known, and more information about him is available at: http://www.helppatrickwalk.org/
Patrick was injured as a toddler when he was struck by a car and sustained a C4/C5 incomplete spinal cord injury. Patrick uses a wheelchair but his injury has never slowed him down. He has surfed all over Southern California and in the US Open of surfing, appeared on the Today Show twice, does motivational speaking, and filmed a surf documentary in Costa Rica just to name a few of his accomplishments.
"I'm so happy that both Sam and Patrick could make it," says McCready. " It really is a special event for my friends, employees and everyone involved with the boutique and it's mission statement."
