Fantasy Football Starters is bringing back its free fantasy football contest that pits “players vs. experts” in a weekly matchup for fun and charity. Last year’s challenge drew more than 50,000 weekly entries from fantasy football players across the United States.

“Our weekly line-up contest broke all previous participation records last year… but what we’re really proud of was our ability to contribute to a major NFL Youth charity.”

As the NFL prepares to kick off its 2011 season, Fantasy Football announces its popular Weekly Line-up Challenge will be returning for a third-straight year. The Lineup Challenge is a game of skill that allows players to assemble a free fantasy football line-up contest team – using any and all available NFL players – during every week of the regular season of the National Football League. Lineup Challenge competitors will match wits against all other players, as well as one of the Fantasy Football experts. FFS experts, who will rotate on a weekly basis, include radio host and NFL guru, Russ Bliss, and co-founders Simon Chatfield, Jeff Coruccini and Dana Valentine.

“Fantasy football is all about the challenge and fun of matching your football IQ versus your friends and colleagues,” says Coruccini. “Our weekly line-up contest broke all previous participation records last year… but what we’re really proud of was our ability to contribute to a major NFL Youth charity.”

Players in the free Weekly Line-up Challenge will compete for bragging rights and free memberships to Fantasy Football premium fantasy football software products. Plus, players score additional bonus points for beating the weekly expert and actively posting on the user forums. The Grand Prize winner also will receive $1,000.00, to be donated in the prize winner’s name to NFL Foundation’s “Play It Smart” Youth program, as well as a lifetime membership to Fantasy Football
