On one year anniversary of PG&E San Bruno pipeline explosion, residents start non-profit foundation to advocate for safety.

Family members of those who lost loved ones in one of the nation’s deadliest pipeline accidents have formed a new nonprofit group, the Gas Pipe Safety Foundation, with plans to raise awareness of gas pipeline safety issues through major publicity, advocacy and outreach to the families of victims of other blasts.

Additional information about the San Bruno pipeline incident can be obtained by reviewing the official California Public Utilities Commission website and direct link to the independent report.

PGE Unplugged, an unincorporated non-profit association, sympathizes with the families and victims of this tragic incident and supports the formation of the Foundation and its goals.
