Book Awards Organizers Expect eBook Submissions to Equal or Exceed Printed Submissions as Deadline Approaches

As the submission deadline for the 2second annual Sharp Writ Book Awards (SWBA) approaches, organizers expect nominations for eBooks to equal or exceed those for printed books. The Sharp Writ Book Awards are organized by Smart Book Lovers, a high-IQ society, to recognize excellence in books independent of publishing media. Whether a book is published in electronic format for the cloud, Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, or other readers, or published in traditional print format, it is eligible for nomination for the 2011 SWBA Book Awards as long as it meets all other criteria.

Whether a book is published in electronic format for the cloud, an e-reader such as Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and Sony, or in the traditional print format, it is eligible for nomination.

With the deadline for submissions only a few weeks away, organizers of Sharp Writ Book Awards (SWBA) announced that based on the submissions received so far, they expect the number of eBook submissions for the 2011 SWBA book awards to equal or exceed submissions of printed books.

Sharp Writ Book Awards are organized by Smart Book Lovers, a high IQ Society, and aim to recognize excellence in books independent of the media used for application.

Since the inception of Sharp Writ Book Awards, the organizers have accepted nominations for books published in both electronic the electronic and traditional print forms. Sharp Writ Book Awards provide an excellent opportunity for book marketing to authors, publishers, publicists and agents.    

Ann Coghill, Coordinator for 2011 Sharp Writ Book Awards explains “Sharp Writ Book Awards span a wide range of genres for the written word. Whether a book is published in electronic format for the cloud, an e-reader such as Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and Sony, or in the traditional print format, it is eligible for nomination for 2011 Sharp Writ Awards as long as it meets all the criteria. Nominating a book for the 2011 Sharp Writ Book Awards not only recognize an excellent piece of writing, but also provide an opportunity for book marketing and publicity.”

The second annual Sharp Writ Book Awards accept nominations in five categories: Fiction, Nonfiction, Memoirs/Autobiography, Children and Young Adult.
