Tehmina was selected to play ‘Sonubai’ the power hungry beauty with ruthless intentions in ‘Singularity’ by Academy nominated director Roland Joffe. ‘Singularity’ is an epic, sweeping and riveting tale of an impossible love set across two time periods and continents. While in Ben Affleck’s ‘Argo’ Tehmina shares her zest for accents playing a Swiss Air Stewardess. Ben Affleck also directs and stars in this amazing film. This exciting film finds the Iranian revolution reaching a boiling point, a CIA 'exfiltration' specialist concocts a risky plan to free a six Americans who have found shelter at the home of the Canadian ambassador.

This London born actresses beautiful Indian looks give her an old Hollywood feel with a modern twist, which lends Tehmina to easily adapt to playing vastly different characters. Just before departing for LA Tehmina landed the Oscar nominated ‘Children of Men’ and in only a short time has graced the screen in Television hits like ‘NCIS’, ‘Californication’ and ‘Heroes’, sharing the screen with talented actors David Duchovny, Rufus Sewell and Mark Hammon.

Along with ‘Argo’ and ‘Singularity’ Tehmina is due to light up our big screen in 2012 as the quick witted New York news reporter whose world tumbles down in the space of one night in ‘Elevator’, alongside industry greats like Shirley Knight, Joey Slotnick and John Getz. This hard working British/Indian actress is fast becoming a fan favorite and Tehmina Sunny is a name that will soon be on everyone’s lips.
