The event, which started with 64 golfers in 2004, attracted more than 100 people for the shotgun-style golf tournament aimed to raise awareness and money for Big Brothers Big Sisters. This year's golf outing was held at the Bent Tree Golf Club.
The Doc & Yeager was established by Champion President and CEO Brian Yeager and his best friend, Trent Albright. Yeager, who has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2005, and Albright were looking for a way to bring together friends, family and business associates for a weekend of fun.
“Champion Real Estate Services will continue to commit time and resources to noble causes. We believe that running a successful business and civic responsibility go hand in hand,” Yeager said.
Champion's support continues beyond the Doc & Yeager Invitational, as it is also a proud sponsor of the 28th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters 2011 Bowl for Kids’ Sake.
