AccessNsite 7.9 features multiple methods to achieve HSPD-12 compliance, multiple simultaneous security panel support, and revolutionary PLACS Physical-Logical access control capability

Quintron Systems, Inc. (http://www.quintron.com), the recognized leader in physical access control and intrusion detection systems and advanced interoperable voice systems, today announced the release of AccessNsite 7.9. In today’s IT driven physical and logical security enterprise, selecting the correct security management platform is a critical business decision. Could a vendor be selected without locking an organization into a single operating system, a single database, a single control panel, a single credential, a single authentication and validation vendor, and without continuously escalating annual support commitments? This is an essential operating strategy and a solid source of long term ROI benefits. Just how could this be accomplished? Is there such a vendor out there?

The answer is yes. The AccessNsite security management software platform from Quintron Systems was designed from scratch to run on multiple operating systems, on dedicated or virtual servers with integrated support for any major SQL database, on a co-located server or split to a local or cloud-based database server. The application server can be virtualized in the cloud and managed from rich or thin web clients. Some of these key features are unique to AccessNsite and especially appreciated by an enterprise’s IT organization.

An extension of this multi-faceted capability of AccessNsite is the seamless operation of single or multiple brands of access and alarm control panels that form Quintron’s unique “single or mingle” hardware vision. Panels supported are Mercury Security, HID Vertx and Edge, Bridgepoint TrustZone™, and DMP X500 Series IDS panels. These various devices can be managed by the software in a pure single-panel type project, or freely mixed with each other when incorporating existing panels with newer panels, with deployed UL IDS panels, and with high security, smart-card crypto panel and reader sets where HSPD-12 access points are required. No other system provides this degree of power and flexibility for the end user, system design engineer, and security integrator.

For Federal Agencies, contractors and critical infrastructure organizations, Quintron has extended the flexible capability of its AccessNsite platform by providing support for the Bridgepoint PIV enrollment and validation solution, the Bridgepoint PKI-based TrustZone cryptographic 1-Factor, 2-Factor, and 3-Factor reader and panel solutions, the Codebench PIV check and enrollment software suite (GSA APL listed by Quintron), and the impending Mercury Javelin panel incorporating Codebench PIV check software for PKI at the door. It is all about fitting the best combination of products and technologies to both the available budget and operating requirements. No other PACS supplier can match our compliance footprint for HSPD-12 while supporting legacy panels and cards within the same facility or agency. Add in AccessNsite’s proven federated credential data distribution engine module, and both front end and back end intra and inter agency interoperability is readily achieved.

Taking PACS to the next level is AccessNsite’s LACS 2012 module that provides single smart credential access to the facility and access to the workstation. Replacing the manual user name and password process with a credential-based logon function raises the level of enterprise protection, while providing compliance to GRC rules that drive much of the enterprise security posture today and into tomorrow.
