Jensen-Lewis, the Contemporary furniture and home furnishings specialist will be expanding their brand to a new location in Manhattan’s Upper East side. The 11,000 square foot showroom at 969 Third Avenue (at 58th Street) features a new Calligaris Shop as well as galleries of seminal brands such as American Leather, BDI, Della Robbia, Copeland Furniture and Stressless by Ekornes. The store is situated in the heart of New York’s burgeoning Design District, just 1 block South of Bloomingdale’s and next to the D&D Building.

With the same dedication as their current headquarters in Chelsea, expect fresh styles, clean lines and the highest quality. Everything on display is also in stock as shown, providing short delivery times to those with immediate needs or that just don’t want to wait. Jensen-Lewis also offers nationwide white-glove delivery for those with homes outside the Tri-State area.

Jensen-Lewis’ design vision has resonated soundly throughout its 49 year history. “Our goal is to sell the best that Contemporary has to offer while still catering to space and budget conscious New Yorkers.” commented Jim Ehrenthal, VP of Jensen-Lewis. “Most furniture isn’t designed for New York apartments with real spacial living constraints. Our furniture is catered specifically to this market where efficiency does matter.”. The store will have accredited interior designers on staff to assist residential consumers and businesses alike.

While the store has all of its furniture on display and is open for business starting this Saturday, September 17th, more merchandising and visual displays are being added to bolster the look. Expect the complete visual of the store to be realized sometime around mid to end November.
