Quincy, MA (PRWEB) September 16, 2011
ScholarshipPoints.com (http://www.scholarshippoints.com), an Edvisors online education company, is kicking off the 2011 – 2012 school year with the Back to School Photo Contest. Student members of ScholarshipPoints.com are being asked to submit photos that depict what school spirit means to them and encourage their peers to vote for their photo in order to win the grand prize. So far members have submitted pictures of football games, marching bands, groups of friends, and even science projects.
Currently the contest, being run exclusively on the ScholarshipPoints.com Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/scholarshippoints), has over 980 submissions and 16,500 votes. When the contest closes at the end of September, the ScholarshipPoints.com member whose submission receives the most votes will receive a $1,000 scholarship award. An additional $500 scholarship will be awarded to one randomly selected member who voted for the winning photo. Both winners will be announced on October 3rd.
ScholarshipPoints.com strives to help students pay for college by providing scholarship funds, exposing members to a wide range of external scholarship offers, and helping them navigate the sometimes complicated financial aid process. With this contest ScholarshipPoints.com hopes to not only help two student members monetarily with scholarship awards, but also foster a sense of community and introduce the ScholarshipPoints.com program and its benefits to a new group of students from schools across the country.
