SAFE Risk Analytics significantly enhances our approach to reducing costs, improving compliance and reducing risk, allowing our customers new ways to automate key security processes and streamline their global security infrastucture.

Quantum Secure, Inc., the exclusive provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and events across disparate physical security systems, today introduced SAFE Risk Analytics, a new module of the award-winning SAFE physical identity and access management software suite.

The Quantum Secure SAFE suite is already powering leading private and public entities, cutting the time, cost and effort of managing physical security, automating key processes and simplifying risk management of employees, vendors and other third-party identities across a global organization.

By connecting their physical security operations closely to their IT infrastructure, security practitioners can quickly realize the value of security convergence, lower their overall level of risk and realize a very strong return on their investment that will result in sustainable cost savings, year after year.

A new addition to the Security Intelligence set of modules within the SAFE software suite, SAFE Risk Analytics is a dedicated tool to help physical security practitioners define, assess, mitigate and report on a wide variety of risks across their security infrastructure.

With SAFE Risk Analytics, physical security practitioners can have a specifically designed software-based approach to the challenges of risk management across systems, processes and people within their organization. As a result, organizations can be better prepared for or even prevent risk-based events before they occur.

“Risk management and mitigation is a very pervasive challenge for today’s physical security practitioners,” said Ajay Jain, president and CEO of Quantum Secure. “With this introduction of SAFE Risk Analytics, we are extending and significantly enhancing our approach to reducing cost, improving compliance and reducing risk, allowing our customers new ways to automate key security processes and streamline their global security infrastructure.”

Across most organizations, the challenges related to risk management are many. Physical security practitioners traditionally have limited or no consolidated visibility regarding the risks related to their physical security infrastructure. There is rarely any mechanism of defining and objectively measuring risk levels, nor any process and/or tool to identify and forewarn about risk events.

These challenges are only compounded by the complex nature of their physical security infrastructure, often consisting of diverse but related systems, people and processes. Because of this, most risk mitigation efforts are handled manually, resulting in error-prone, high-cost processes that take an undue amount of time to execute.

With SAFE Risk Analytics, security practitioners will have a software-based tool to automate key policies and procedures related to risk management, dramatically streamlining their security infrastructure and simplifying their risk management efforts.

SAFE Risk Analytics will provide capabilities for the following:

  • Risk Definition, which includes pre-built library of physical and integrated security risks along with associated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Because of the insight gained from our key deployments, this library simplifies user setup and implementation.
  • Risk Assessment, which is automated within the system. Based on the risk definition, SAFE Risk Analytics aggregates, correlates and processes data from multiple external systems
  • Risk Reporting, which includes interactive, point-and-click cross application reports with high-level summary as well as drill-down views
  • Risk Monetization, using a combination of the likelihood of occurrence and impact of the risk event

SAFE Risk Analytics will be available directly from Quantum Secure value added resellers as well as directly from Quantum Secure in Q4CY11. For more information as well as demonstration of the entire SAFE suite of software, please visit our booth #243 at the ASIS International 57th Annual Seminar & Exhibits in Orlando, September 19-21.
