Linfield College’s Adult Degree Program now offers a bachelor’s degree in marketing in addition to its current offerings. The marketing degree is offered in an online format, and is identical in content to the accredited on-campus marketing degree offered by Linfield College. This new degree will allow adult students interested in earning an online marketing degree an opportunity to enjoy a quality education conveniently while combining education with work and family responsibilities. Linfield strives to provide diverse opportunities for higher education to all its students, both in the classroom and online, and the marketing degree becomes the latest of Linfield’s offerings.
Linfield College’s marketing major requires students to complete coursework in such courses as marketing, accounting, business law, economics financial management, and strategic management. Students customize their degree by choosing three marketing electives through Linfield to complete the major. Students gain quantitative skills through statistics and calculus. At Linfield College, students have a choice between the Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing or the Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, so you can make the degree what you want it to be.

The Linfield Department of Business believes that education is a life-long process in which higher education has an important part. The focus of the Department’s courses and programs provides its students with a sound basic education in business, accounting, and marketing, within the broader context of a liberal arts education. The accredited marketing degree will help prepare students to excel in the fields of marketing, sales, and advertising, as well as help prepare them to meet the challenges and complexities the business world offers.
Financial aid through grants and loans is available to all eligible Adult Degree Program students. Linfield offers workshops for students to successfully apply for scholarships. Adult students may also receive college credit for life and work experience, which can significantly decrease the cost and number of courses needed to earn a bachelor’s in marketing degree.
Adult students enrolling in the Linfield Adult Degree Program work with an academic advisor who will assist them in selecting courses to meet the requirements for the online marketing degree.
