This dark, futuristic science fiction follows two competent young engineers, Mick “Red” O’Hare and Walter Black Bear, as they embark on a quest to redesign the Foremen and Laborers as self-replicating automatons. The vital roles they are playing are essential to the goal of winning the battle against time and the universe. Will they succeed on their mission? Readers can find out in author Fredrick James Terriere’s Pendulums of Time: Volume One – END OF MAN.
During the last hundred years, relevant driving forces have transformed civilization, either for progress or downfall. The emergence of computers and supercomputers, genetics, cloning, stem cells, DNA insertions into food crops, and other phenomenal discoveries utterly create a difference in human evolution – proofs that technology is rapidly reaching a crescendo. Religions also have their own predictions like the armageddon, followed by a mystic spiritual alteration. History follows patterns. But do people need to break the loop of rise and fall now or ever? This book provides clarification, and it also answers more intriguing questions relating to worldwide political differences, a new Utopia, the beginning, man’s journey – today and tomorrow. What do people face in the future?
All of these concerns and more point toward a paradigm shift in mental and physical human evolution, or an end to humankind. Is it a new beginning or the complete end of man? Red and Walter are on the forefront of the battle against time and the universe. They are the final hopes of humanity.
