Dickey’s Barbecue Pit To Host National Pulled Pork Eating Championship

The Nation’s fastest growing barbecue chain has created a nation-wide “barbecue bash” leading to the National Pulled Pork Eating Championship on October 18th.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (http://www.Dickeys.com) has officially announced The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit National Pulled Pork Eating Championship which includes 6 Regional Qualifier sites that will award a trip for the Regional winners to participate in the National Championship to be held at the original Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in Dallas, Texas in celebration of their 70th Anniversary.

The remaining Regional Qualifiers (Regional Qualifiers were previously held in Raleigh, NC; Bandera, TX and Overland Park, KS) are scheduled for Plano Preston, TX on September 23; Meridian, ID on September 24th and Pleasanton, CA on September 24th and will bring some of the Nation’s top barbecue lovers and eaters together to battle for an elusive 1st Place Regional Qualifier win that will award a trip to Dallas, TX on October 18th to battle for the title of National Pulled Pork Eating Champion along with prize money - $500.00 for 1st, $250.00 for 2nd, $150.00 for 3rd and $50.00 for 4th. Only one winner from each Regional Qualifier will advance to the National Championship in Dallas, TX on October 18th but luckily everyone who participates will walk away a winner with a stomach full of the Nation’s favorite and most loved barbecue!
