Kona Land and Water Escapes, Arizona’s premier landscape design service, has announced the launch of a web-based consumer information initiative, according to Lenny Clark, owner of the firm.
“Our 40 years of experience has shown us that the more information we provide to our clients, the more satisfied they are when the work is complete. We set out to create a website that would provide a similar level of information to potential customers. We want them to make an informed decision about the type of outdoor design they choose, whether it is tropical landscaping, a Mediterranean-inspired theme, or a Japanese garden. That information is now online and the feedback we are receiving is tremendous,” said Clark.
He added that many people tell him they did not know they could have such a variety of landscape options in the arid Arizona climate.
“We create environments,” said Clark. “Certainly, Xeriscape is very popular in desert climates, because these landscape designs sip water. But with proper irrigation and modern technology, it is possible to have a lush English garden here in the Southwest. Our web initiative also explains, for instance, how a person can have waterscaping, such as a fountain, and still be very water conscious.”
Kona Land and Water Escapes has been honored as the 2011 “Best of Tempe,” an award it also earned in 2010 and 2009. The industry leader in landscaping has been featured in newspaper articles and on local television.
Clark said the company took the additional step of having the new informational website optimized for search engines to make the material readily available to people performing an online search for landscape facts.
“Search engine optimization ensures that when a person is looking for, say, pond builders, that our site ranks well in the results. There was simply no point in developing our informational site if no one could find it. Now they can, easily and quickly.
“I have always been dedicated to continuing education in the field of landscaping and water hydraulics,” he added. “Keeping current is thrilling to me because it means I can better serve our customers. Naturally, I embraced the web, and now search engine optimization, because it makes information about the industry, and about us, more available than ever.”
Kona Land and Water Escapes serves the entire Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Chandler, Gilbert, San Tan Valley, Casa Grande, Glendale, and Payson, and Heber/Overgaard, Arizona.
